Prof. Dr.Ashok Thiakarajan is graduated in science and pursued IR & Labor Law from Madurai Kamaraj University and MBA, M.Phil and Ph.D from Madras University. He was a Student of Dr. Philip Kotler, the father of Marketing.

He has over three decades of professional experience in various Healthcare organizations at different roles viz., Sales Manager, Branding head, General Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Served as Head of Sales & MKTG with Cipla, Head of International branding & strategy at Beiersdorf AG Germany, Zonal Head in Johnson & Johnson, USA for JJMI division and assisted over thousands of surgeries (SIS) across the Globe. As a Project Head for Bio Ceramic Wound Treatment devices at Murugappa Group, he spearheaded the commencement of the USFDA and CE accredited Medical Device Manufacturing unit at Chennai and also facilitated Multi-center clinical research at MS Ramaiah hospital, Pretoria Medical University Johannesburg in South Africa, Philippines and India. Took the Lead role as P&L head with Kovai Medical Centre Hospitals, Billroth Hospitals, Fortis Malar and recent assignment was with KIMS as COO for the hospitals in Kochi & Perinthalmanna. Presently heading the HCG oncology, at Chennai.

A Certified Professional for IPR & Royalty, JV and merger, Multi Centre Clinical Trials, CE and FDA protocols for Medical Device, ISO 13485, Infection Prevention protocols at AORN Australia. Published scientific papers in various International Journals and presented papers at Moscow, Malaysia, South Africa, India at various International conferences. A visiting faculty with IIM, IIT, Indo German Chamber of Commerce, Manipal Global Academy and KLU. Delivered hundreds of motivational sessions amongst students, Faculties and Professionals.
